Cable calculations in downstream"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The next generation of EL-VIS Cable has been released!<\/p>\n\n<p>From now on you can calculate cables in downstream, creating a complete wiring system! In addition, we added some new features not available in our Windows application.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s new in EL-VIS Cable?<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Calculate cables in downstream (wiring system calculations)<\/li><li>Be able to dimension a cable using the previous protection<\/li><li>The total voltage drop in a selected end point is shown <em>(not available in our Windows application)<\/em><\/li><li>Easy and intuitive navigation selecting different cables in a wiring system <em>(not available in our Windows application)<\/em><\/li><li>Copy and move cables in the current wiring system<\/li><li>Copy and move cables to another wiring system <em>(not available in our Windows application)<\/em><\/li><li>When deleting a cable, you&#8217;ll get the option to remove the cables downstreams or to move them to another position <em>(not available in our Windows application)<\/em><\/li><li>When copying or cutting a cable, you&#8217;ll get the option to move\/cut the cables downstreams or to move\/cut them to another position <em>(not available in our Windows application)<\/em><\/li><li>You&#8217;re able to specify PEN or N-PE for multiple (4- or 5-) core cables in order to get more accurate calculations for 1-phase short circuit currents <em>(not available in our Windows application)<\/em><\/li><li>A brand new warning system, making it a lot harder to make calculation mistakes in the planning phase. As an example, you&#8217;ll get a warning if you try to select a N-PE when there are PEN circuits downstream in the facility <em>(not available in our Windows application)<\/em><\/li><li>Automatic numbering of cable numbers and end points <em>(not available in our Windows application)<\/em><\/li><\/ul>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upcoming Cable features<\/h4>\n\n<p>We have two really great upcoming features that we&#8217;ll start working on soon; be able to print (or create a PDF file) the cable list or the cable data for all cables in a wiring system.
